Aircraft & Equipment Of The Lithuanian Air Force
Continuing to examine the size, strength, and capabilities of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, I think it’s finally time to take a deep dive into its Air Force. This relatively small branch of Lithuania’s defence forces has changed a little bit in recent years- and will soon change further with the addition of new UH-60M black hawk helicopters.

Continuing to look at the current and future capabilities of Lithuania’s armed forces, today i thought it would be interesting to look at the country’s order for 4 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters and related equipment. How Are Lithuania & Poland Defending The Suwalki Gap?

One POLITICO article calls it “the most dangerous place on earth,” while others have called it NATO’s weakest point. It’s not hard to see why the Suwalki gap has these names. It’s sandwiched between unfriendly, non-allied territory: The Russian exclave of Kaliningrad to the west, and Belarus to the east. In The Event Of A Russian Invasion, This Is NATO's First Response (VJTF)

Like MOST of the special units and alliances that we’ve discussed in previous videos, the VJTF is the result of the actions of Russian forces. In this case, the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) was setup in 2014 as a “spearhead force” within NATO’s NRF - or NATO Response force. As explained by the UK’s ministry of Defence, the VJTF was created after Russia’s illegal annexation of Cri...

We in Latvia don't understand Lithuanians but they are still our Braļukas! And we love them. Yes, we are different language perspective from Estonia but we both were enslaved by Germans and then Denmark, so we also haveva lot of common. We are 3 brothers and sisters, The Baltic States. Doesn't matter where I am, Lithuania or Estonia, I feel like in very friendly almost home!

I was born in 1989 in Lithuania and lived here all my life. I am glad that now we are a part of European union, have rights, can travel around the world and free from influence of moscow. Our parents and grand parents payed high price for it, so we must respect that and preserve that freedom for our kids. Thanks for reminder.

I really appreciate your channel. I get to learn about my own country from a foreigner, which is a blast. I love your kindness and dedication. Regarding making friends and socialising: i worked for a schoolyear at a university cafe and about half of my regular clients were foreign students from all over the world. I always loved talking to them, whether it’s small talk or deeper conversations. It always pains me to hear that getting around and making friends can be difficult because of language barriers. Makes me wish i could search out and befriend all of the foreigners living here lol Best wishes from Kaunas!

What do you mean Lithuanian men don't date foreign women? A lot of basketball, ice hockey players, business men have foreign spouse from the west, south countries. I dated American and Italian girls too and I've found them way more down to earth and straight forward than an insecure Lithuanian girl. Even guy from the deep province where I live in Lithuania has a girl from Brazil. Men date foreign women and trust me Lithuanian women is definitely nothing too special.

those L-410 planes are super cool!! Old, Czech tech, but modernize the avionics and add the right navs/radios, and they are some of the coolest turboprops, in ny opinion. We never get to see them here in the USA - maybe that's why they are cool to me: the rarity and overall "oddness" of them, but for (some of) us American av-geeks, the old Soviet era aircraft are the coolest! Would love to fly one one day, but I probably will never even see one in real life (just in pics and videos) - very cool!

Polish of Lithuania was separated from Poland during Soviet Union time and this is why they grow apart from Poland and developed more like russian mentality, for 30 years of Lithuania independence this gap just get bigger with help of Lithuanian state policy not accepting, denial of this problem

Hi! About scandinavians being cold and closed off: I`m from north of the arctic circle, and Northern Norway is in general almost extremely extroverted, at least compared with how it is in the south eastern part. Scandinavia is long, from Tne North Cape to the german border, so we`re not all the same. Don`t judge until you know. I`ve heard that in Bergen it`s seen as unpolite not to sit beside another person on thje bus even if a lot of seats are empty. That says it all, doesn`t it?

Riga’s story how it was constructed, it’s history during the tsar times is different from Vilnius. Once you are in Riga you should see the city with a guide, it’s so different than just to read in a book and walk around by yourself (my experiences). Riga always had different status in the region than other cities from the Baltic states. Nevertheless living in vilnius myself I love the old towns of both Vilnius and Riga.

There is no way 5,000 Nato forces can stop them. Use more automation, set barriers, walls and maybe mine some roads leading to the Baltic countries. Just saying!
